Our cameras consist of several major components which we describe below.

Controllers

These are electronic modules which provide voltages to the detectors and process their output to form the digital images displayed on computers. Click here for details.

Dewars

Most of our cameras run with liquid nitrogen dewars to operate below -100C.  Our guiders use much thermoelectric cooled dewars and run at about -50C. Click here for details.

Software

Data acquisition is performed with the AzCam software package.
